Crafted Design:Build is a custom home builder that specializes in urban and infill design and construction in the Metropolitan Seattle area.
CD:B has been building in the Seattle area since 2014. CD:B’s work reflects the direction Seattle’s design community has adopted, while injecting an eye-catching signature style all its own.
While CD:B contributes to the fight against urban decay, CD:B is also cognizant of the dangers of over building and urban sprawl. Though Seattle can’t build much beyond its watery boarders, without care it can still infringe on the balance between living and open space.
CD:B has found its comfort zone building in the 4 and 5 Star Built Green range, while pursuing the future of passive home design and construction. CD:B strives to register high in the point scale for locally sourced and environmentally friendly materials, as well as striking up and maintaining longstanding working relationships with the true artisans and craftsmen of their individual trades.
What’s more is CD:B’s habit of building in neighborhoods where livability is a priority, with high walk scores, urban necessities such as transportation and goods, as well as parks and schools. While some projects have registered higher than others on the livability scale, all CD:B homes rank as homes and neighborhoods they would live in.
